Which CPK are you carrying today?

In all seriousness, though - there are many things we love about Canada. I worked in Canada for a while, we have family there and we were married on Vancouver Island. Long overdue for another visit.
No way!? That’s really cool. 👍

Although I’m very disappointed with the current federal government and the direction they’ve taken the country (I’ll leave it at that), Canada is a big beautiful place that is near and dear to my heart.

No, no, no. He'd become an Avalanche fan in short order...not having it.

(I've traveled across much of Canada from Quebec to the Canadian Rockies. Always loved the country...and most of the people were great, though it took a while to get used to being called a Yank.)

Here is my taste in edc knives.
Cold Steel Voyager xl, an excellent knife for $90.
Cold Steel Recon1 image.jpg
I carried each of those for years. The clips on CS knives are too tight, but they are good tough knives for the money.

The edc1 I think it is makes folders obsolete as far as I am concerned. This is the best knife ever designed and made in my opinion. Horizontal carry and you conceal it with even just a t-shirt.

What I would buy is an EDC XL just a bit bigger than this one. Maybe 3.5” to 3.75” blade. Why would I need that though? What can you not do with that EDC1?

The handle is what is so much better than any folder ever made.

There is my 2 cents.

Check out the CPK DEK series and the Carolina Reaper/CR35 (collaboration of Mark Scrimgeour, Lorien Arnold and Nathan).

Very nice. Wow that CR35. Not many of those around. No preorder coming either.
EDC knife plus the DEK1. Those two can do everything. No need to buy any more knives, ever.
That CR35 -- I have never seen the picture from above. The handle is really thick and contoured. Very nice.
CPK has the best handles period in my opinion. So many knives have a handle that is too thin, small, and polished.
