I bought a bunch of extra DEK1 scales including OD green canvas micarta and OD green TeroTuf. I can't wait to see them all!

carry around this wrapped EDC in a pocket sheath a lot of the time. I tried to cut a tshirt into a rag today and it was not good, and realized I've been making due with this dull knife for a long time. SAD! Hundreds of staples pried, zipties, firehose, sandpaper...yeesh. It was so bad I didn't really feel like putting it in my pocket anymore, now I know why.
15 minutes with a 400 grit surfacing belt, few licks on the ceramic, problem solved

Interesting how those OD green micarta scales turn into a brownish hue with age, oxidization, oils from the skin, etc; there was a post and an explanation by Nathan about this process a whole while back but I'm in a lazy mood to go to dig that up. I'd like to see your preorders when they hit the porch, ye sneaky bastid
