Which CPK are you carrying today?

I've stayed away from OTFs for now, for several reasons. Tell me about this one, yoko yoko , seems well used. Does the action hold up, etc. ?

This is an axial shift in cruwear , I like it, normal amount of blade play for an OTF , I work in a very dusty environment and can get a few fail to fires after a few days at work , but I just spray a tiny bit of wd40 and work the action and it's good as new

I’ve never owned an OTF, if they get dirty and fail to retract all the way, how do you reseat the blade? Do you have to use something to force it back far enough to engage the sear?

WD-40 collects dirt and dust. You should use silicone lubricant, which doesn't trap dirt. You'll see a big improvement.

Microtech recommends the Remington aerosol can spray for their OTF’s. For that purpose that’s what I use in my OTF’s, but haven’t tried anything else. After that, blow it out with canned air. Not saying it’s any better or worse than other options, but an option.

I don’t have to worry about Yoko’s conditions thank goodness.

Silicone is an ultra no no when you paint cars , and I my folders while making cars and other work related things

It's pretty much the equivalent of an A bomb

Funny you should mention this. One of my friends has a body shop, not the one that has my car lol. But anyways so the guy that has the bay close to his shop wrenches on boats. Well he walked over to ask something, walked right into his booth. He was painting and apparently the guy who walked in. Had tire shine like stuff all over his boots and pants. Well you know there’s some spots now on that side of the car !!!! I don’t think they’re speaking yet lol.

I wanna see how the boot dagger looks after its life of being thrown. I have a cheap set of throwing knives and they look like crap. I have the urge to throw my boot dagger but won’t lol throwing knives is a blast
Yeah for sure. I cringed when it hit handle first and fell. Couldn’t believe it was a dagger 😯. Good for Lorien for using it though. If it were mine, I’d probably just take it out of the safe every once in a while, caress it, and tell her how beautiful she is 😂

I use mine gingerly, like a fancy letter opener. 😂 sometimes a box etc and I’ll stab it gently into wood because it feels satisfying and it looks badass sticking out of something lol

when I get blems it's with the understanding that they are mine for life, unfit to float around in the secondary market, so I do not hold back when it comes to using them. I've thrown that dagger hundreds of times, maybe more, and it's a little dinged up but not too bad. It would take a lot to seriously damage it.

How’s the tip holding up? Hit anything you didn’t mean to like a rock? I shouldn’t be asking as it’s going to make the urge to throw it worse
