Which CPK are you carrying today?

Today was the EDC 1.2, and I must say it saved my butt.

Went outside for a few minutes to change ootvthe birds frozen water bowls.

The medium wind storm we had, + the -1 temps, made for a quick time outside.

The wind blew the outdoor door slamming shut, and somehow blew the deadbolt locked.

Upon my return to the door, the deadbolt was locked shut.

The emergency key was in the shed, but a giant frost heave prevented the door from opening, blocking all tools and the emergency key.

My only option short of shooting the lock open, was my EDC 1.2.

Without any hesitation, I was able to open the lock, even with wet gloves and numb hands.

I had complete confidence in Nate’s performance and didn’t give a second thought to put it to use to open the door

With frozen hands and food cooking inside, I didn’t have much time and my EzdC 1,2 preformed flawlessly, and with zero damage to the door, knife against steel ,or knife against metal. The

I’m fact, my EDC1,2 still looks as new, despite prying metal to metal and prying against metal, it looks as issued from the mothership.

The food was tended to in the proper time, and ghe EDC1.2 still looks as new, not a single scratch, nick, or roll.

Thank you Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist for putting such a wonderful product into my hands. I used it without hesitation and it preformed perfectly.

Hard use no, but it preformed EXACTLY as expected when called upon. Thank you is not enough, you saved my bacon today.

Said knife on the frozen bird water and the cooking food that you allowed me to tend to without it getting burned.

Just got home from work and I’m almost but not quite embarrassed to say that I only carried one CPK today. The SS SDFK is such a beast.

Looking for knives in my truck can be like an Easter egg hunt sometimes…😝

I’m always up late. Just trying to hold out as long as possible to keep work in the morning at bay lol and yup I bought a cpk not too long ago on the secondary. Finally snagged a FK3! So of course I’ve been going over fk3 threads 🤣

Oh and it’s 1am here in upstate NY
