Hi guys, I would like to get your opinions on which Damascus pattern would look great on this Small Mammoth Bark. Thanks!

Since I already have a raindrop, my only other options are either the ladder or the basketweave. :)

Of the 2 choices, my vote would be Basketweave.

Thanks LW! I really need to actually step-up my photo skills.. too lazy and just using an iPhone for now...

Also, I already do have a raindrop damascus and would like either a ladder or basketweave on this piece... :)

I missed out on the Spirograph of years ago, but did have a basketweave Mnandi years ago when it was a special run. I have since had Raindrop, Ladder, Basketweave.....not to go without mention Gary house mosaic Damascus 😃. For me, and the choices given I would take basketweave because it is so different. I actually have never been a fan of ladder Damascus. Currently, I have a large 21 in Bocote, Box Elder, Cocobolo and all have basketweave, so you can see that basketweave kinda won out with me.....lol.
 
I really wish spirograph was still available too. I like it much better than the choices we have now.

I'd have to say I'd go with ladder. I have 2 with raindrop and 1 with ladder.

Fyi. There's a large micarta with spriograph on the exchange now. Not cheap tho....$825 the last time I looked at the ad.
 
I vote to for the basketweave. Like the pattern a little better.
To me the older ladder patterns I've seen seem a little tighter and better than current version. Could be just me though.

I like ladder of the two choices anyway..
I need to get a good user..Ladder or Raindrop. Don't really care for basketweave.

I actually have a spirograph on a TNK Exclusive.. Does anyone know if CRK would do a blade swap for me? I know it needs to be adjusted properly.. So not sure if it is doable..

I can juts order a replacement s35vn blade for the TNK after the swap... [emoji16]

Should I suggest blue spiro? ;) :D

I think they might do the swap, but am not sure.
 
I voted Basketweave but it really depends on the specific pattern. There are some really nice ladder patterns out there though. My personal favorites are Zebra, Snakeskin and Bubble Wrap.
