Which Disc Grinder??

I talked to him several years ago about a different size shaft. He didn't seem to have a problem doing that. If you have serious interest email him.

I contacted him about this when I was shopping for disc grinders, but didn't hear back from him. So I ended up buying something else.
I may give it another try in the future.

I bought the table because I want to do dovetail spacers and and bolsters on fixed blade knives, so I need a way to hold a constant angle. But yeah, if you don’t need a table, you can save lots of money.

I also only use mine for handle parts. It is very helpful and time saving. Shaping and finishing the front part of bolsters before glue up is less than 10 min now. I angle these for a nice pinch grip, so a tilting table is great.

Out of all the (12") disc grinders I have come across, none look better built than this one. It is in a waaay different price range (almost twice the cost of the complete Beaumont set up), but still needs to be shown. Just look at it...The Burr King 29700...

The TG base is not ideal for big fixed blades as the work rest supports are in the way for full disc access.

It is the "go to" for many slipjoint makers due the angled disc, precision and work rest going behind the disc.
@AVigil in your instagram build pics, I'd like to see some of the steps/processes you use the disc for on slip joints.
