Which do you like more, bone or wood scales on a traditional slipjoint?

Im partial to bone.....and stag and then wood....they all have endearing qualities.....FES

I ever so slightly prefer wood over bone, but that said, I couldn't resist commenting on what a wonder example of jigged bone that is John. Gorgeous!

I prefer the texture of jigged bone over smooth wood.

Jigged bone for me esp the clawed /grizzly style.Thats top o the heap at the mo.
But who knows? That could change tomorrow.

Fes -whats that sunfish in your pic?
Jon slider- how is ebony different to blackwood in your opinion-I've wondered about this for a while and appreciate any thoughts .

Meako...its a RR that Duncan gave me years ago...I was amazed at the quality...Lethal pen blade has bled me twice...I have much respect for this cheap Chinese knife..................FES

I think I have 1 slip joint with wooden handle,probably 80 with bone. Stag is still my favorite though.
