Picked micarta, but the real choice is wood inlay. Plain Jane second. Carbon fibre third.

The weight doesn't seem to bother me, since my list goes heaviest to lightest.

I love the CF scales. I didnt think I would like them as much as I do. other than a mnandi, I have traded and bought myself into only WC starbursts and CF scales.
I did make a long list of CRK that I would still like to get, and the list is longer than my funds will be able to accommodate for the next few years though...

Looks - plain Ti
User- Micarta all the way

Still have not tried any CF models. They are damn good looking.

While i like the low weight of the CF, it feels like there is something missing.
When I pick up a Sebbie, weight is something that makes it feel right.

PS: I can't believe I wrote this.

I like plain handles but the Starbenza treatment is really nice too.

One of the first two.
Sometimes I think plain, and sometimes Micarta. I bought the first Micarta sold at Blade 05 ten long years ago, and I still can't decide which I prefer. I finally gave up on trying:p

Yes, I wanted to vote at last twice. ;)

Voted plain Ti, but love all three. I actually like the unbalanced feel of the CF scaled KA's though, like the knife is trying to lean into my hand. I feel the same way about my Nathawut framelock Emerson Horseman that has a linerless G10 non-lock scale, the weight of the lock side leaning into my (right) hand is actually comforting to me.

Between Micarta inlays and plain Jane scales I can't pick which I prefer. I like and carry both. However, I chose the KACF scale version. I love the looks and I also love the weight reduction. I wouldn't say a large plain Jane is heavy but it's a substantial weight for an all metal knife. The CF scale makes the knife seem so incredibly light and it disappears in the pocket!

Tough call, but carbon fiber wins out for being so tough and lightweight. And so darn good-looking!

What advantages do you find in not having a pocket clip sir?

I can't answer for V a d i m, but I don't use pocket clips on any of my folders including my Sebenzas and I can sum up my reasons in three words . . . comfort, concealment and safety.

Thanks for your opinion sir. Much appreciated.

You're welcome. Just so you know, when it comes to using pocket clips, my opinion is definitely in the minority around here. Most folks like and use clips. Just not me. Instead, I dedicate a pocket (in my case, my weak side front pocket) to EDC carry and nothing goes in that pocket but my knife. Haven't lost one yet. :)
