One you can get right away and one is more expensive and heavier.
Maybe this can help.
Convexed its a whole different tool.

My vote is the convex machete.

Get a 12" and 18" and save more money. Spend the scratch on some kydex from Azrael's Leather.

Where're you going with them?

I have a slightly larger gologck

I have a bunch of machets , but no ontarios

I would choose the golock over the machete anyday of the week , hands down

there is no comparison .

It also comes sharpened with convex edge allready
