Which do you prefer, brass or nickel silver bolsters?

In all honesty, I loath having to polish brass.
Tarnishing is fine but verdigris is a cancerous affliction I care not for any knife.
The only brass item I see as a necessary exception is a brass knuckle....
A knife has more than enough issues in the after care department.
It would be a great relief to see lesser care afforded to cosmetic issues.
Make mine nickel silver please.

Don't have to polish. just let it form a nice patina and the more you use it the better it looks.
 
I like the Nickel on my safe queens and Brass on my users. Polishing brass is just part of normal knife care to me.
