I fall in love with Busse that is all i can tell ya. Not exactly a 200 below blade. For fixed blade search, you should not leave the name Busse out of it.

Due to incoming of FBM, you should expect a lot older model on market for sellers who need to collect funds for a giant knife.

Alright, I think I'm going to go for the Ranger RD7 (maybe 9) and I just ordered a becker Crewman. I might get the BK7 when funds are better but the Ranger can be had soon and for an incredibly reasonable price. Thanks a lot for all the suggestions. I just want something rugged that can handle pretty much whatever I throw it into (and look like it too).

I'm very pleased with my RD-7. It's heavier than a BK-7, but the 1/4" 5160 is really tough. I say go for it.
