Is it really a mod if it’s fairly easily reversible?Aforementioned FK1 along with the only CPK I’ve ever modded. Nathan had some choice thoughts on it when he saw it at Blade Show a few years back

BFK based on my limited experience. Prefer the length and more pointed tip without the belly of the FK2. However, that may change when I manage to get ahold of a SDFK and/or HDFK. Likewise I prefer the DEK1 over the 2 or 3, based on looks. Should have my first DEK1 (user) in hand tomorrow, to start carrying every day, for a work knife, at least until I can get my hands on an EDC 1.2.
I can see where the FK2 belly would be superior for bushcraft, and processing game (skinning, butchering) but I’m getting up there and my hunting and playing in the woods are probably behind me. Pointed tip with less belly works better for me, cutting open mortar/concrete bags, 60-70 year old taped electrical connections and trimming a little off of studs/joists, remodeling in old crooked houses. No matter how close you measure, especially with junk lumber and Chinese pre-hung doors available today, often find whittling and shims are necessary to get things to line up. No such thing as putting windows/doors in perfectly plumb and square these days and expecting them to work.![]()
Pretty much this for me as well. ^As above...the one I own. Though I'm sure I'd love any of 'em.
