Kwon, all great choices and I own or have owned each (well a g10 Military, not the Ti version). The Adamas is just a beast and near indestructible. The Military has a ton of blade and slices like a champ. The Contego has great steel and looks cool. The PM2 gets my vote though. I LOVE the compression lock. It took a while for the PM2 to grow on me but I soon realized why it was so hyped. I actually prefer the Yojimbo 2 to the PM2 though, and they are pretty similar with the exception of blade shape. So I guess my vote is for the Yojimbo 2 :D

Spyderco Paramilitary 2 - It's a nice knife but I don't get all the hype. I actually don't like the compression lock. I'd personally rather have a liner lock. If it had one I probably would've kept mine. The ergonomics are great regardless.

Spyderco Titanium Military - I've never owned a military but have handled them before. They're nice but too big for my EDC preferences.

Benchmade 810 Contego - Same as military, great knife but too big for me to EDC.

Benchmade 275 Adamas - Owned one, loved it but ultimately sold it. It's so large and overbuilt that it was really unnecessary for my needs.

Other recommendations include ZT 0550 & Spyderco GB.

If you don't have a Military yet, you should go for that. If I recall correctly, since you seem so concerned with liner locks and losing fingers, Sal has said that there is no appreciable difference in lock strength between the liner lock and the frame lock in the Military.

There's a member here that has worn through a S90V Military without losing his fingers.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I think I'm going to go for the Paramilitary 2. After that, we'll see.

The Adamas is a beastly blade. Quite heavy for EDC but RAZOR sharp and incredible builld quality.

You definitely won't regret buying it.

I have experience with the Para2 and the Adamas, they're quite high quality knives. Can not go wrong with either.
