Which GEC to choose?

@crossada: Another pattern which looks really nice! Thank you for posting it!
@johnny: Wow! That one is really nice, especially the bone...
@roland: The dog leg jack is really very nice, I saw already some of them. The Conductor is just one-spring? I usually prefer 2-spring-knives. My hands are a little to big for a one-spring knife. I have a SBG and it´s much too small for longer working with it.

Andi, Yes, the "Conductor" is a Pen knife, so 2 blades, 1 spring. 100 years ago men often carried both a Pen and Jack knife.
I'm sure many of them had big hands. The Conductor is actually quite stout for a Gent's Pen knife, so i think it might be more a matter of what you want to use it for, than hand size.
I'm recommending you get 2 knives, a Jack and a Pen.
Most of the GEC patterns are excellent, but i think the two I recommended are about the best in each category.

youre right, surely. The guys about 100 years ago had (mostly) bigger hands than we have nowadays, normally. So you´re completelly right. It´s so difficult to decide... Thank you guys, so much for your replies! I´m still gonna think about it. I´m sure, it will not be my first and last GEC. :)
