My friend is a edge tool dealer and he interested to have some brand beside the mentioned sold here.

200-300USD Ti frame/liner lock is what he looking for.

No Chinese brand too because somebody has tried and not very successful. USA or European made would be appreciate.

Button lock, but Hogue is a US made folder. They make some really nice stuff!

Freeman Outdoor Gear 451 Button Lock Flipper!

$225-400 depending on your blade, handle and insert choice. I love mine, it's just a little too big for my daily carry in an office environment. They're made in small, batch runs so each one gets a little personal attention from the maker. Again, it's a button lock, not a frame lock, but you can't go wrong with one of these.

avoid mantis and quartermaster, those are made in china and false advertising saying they are usa made.

how about usa made Southern Grind, Chris Reeve, Ferrum Forge, Chaves, Brous Blades, Jake Hoback, Brad Southard, Curtiss Knive, David Mosier.

some of those are over your price points and their are plenty more i haven't mentioned also.

If he can expand the budget just a little bit and doesn't mind used, he can get into a Small or Large Chris Reeve Sebenza. Heck, even used most of them on the exchange here are in great shape.

He's dealer and he want brand new knives rather for his store.

Brous blades
200-400$
on sale on and off in Blade HQ and knifecenter

I have 2 of them they are very good made
the bigger models (3.8-4.0") - I have mini-division flipper - like ZT - thick and very durable for hard work

smaller models (I have bionic 2.0) thinner and very light but hard rock, no playing/wiggling

I like both
the other thing I like about it- full metal - no plastic handles - increase durability

compare to spyderco for 200-300 will be plastic handles
something metal -400$ and up

if I would be choosing 1 good quality expensive folder in range of 200-300
my choses will be

BENCHMADE 940/940-1/943 Osborne Plain Edge
ZT 0450 or 0454
spyderco - SPYDERCO Native5 Fluted Titanium Plain Edge CPM S35VN/ Spyderco Southard Flipper C156GBN or black/ delica in ZDP-189/ paramili in S110V or M4
brouse blades mentioned above

Save a bit and go after a RHK or CRK. Or if your friend lurks the Exchange often he/she can have one of these at around 300 USD.

European high end knives? Extrema Ratio and Pohl Force. Fox knives comes to mind. Emerson should be included in his line up.

No more than $300 on primary market, excluding those four manufacturers and excluding China narrows it quite a bit.

Fantoni, Fox, Hogue, ProTech, Southern Grind, Spartan, Viper.

By the way, LionSteel makes knives for Bastinelli Creations, Dendra, Pohl Force, DPx, etc.

DPX Gear, Pohl force have great knives which are made by lionsteel, but also a few other models by different manufacturers.
Fallkniven makes some solid folders as well
