Which Hinderer finish do you prefer?

Oh what the heck Ill play.
I really love the Hinderer stonewash. Absolutely beautiful on the blade but I don’t care for it on the handle. Really like my Battle Bronze. I sent my Stonewashed out for DCL over the stonewashed and am very excited to see it. I did own a working finish a few years ago and preferred that to the stonewashed on the lock frame.
 
I used to prefer stonewashed. But even after lots of use, working finish holds up real well, so it’s a slight preference now.
 
This is actually the whole "Blondes, Brunettes, or Redheads" question all over.
The correct answer is always "Yes!"

This will sound weird for a guy that only owns users but the stonewash on my Eklipse is why I just wasn't comfortable using it. It was just TOO PRETTY. I have no problem with scratching the hell out of a tool but just couldn’t bring myself to mare that finish. Hopefully the DLC will cure it.

Will not. One scratch on the DLC then the aesthetics is ruined. Well unless you scratched it up all over so that it becomes blackwash.
 
I get what you are saying but its a black tool. It will develop wear rash like all my guns and flashlights that get carried everyday and I am just fine with that. The problem with the Stonewashed was it was just too shiny and pretty. Tools shouldn’t be shiny and pretty in my deluded mind!
 
I went back and forth between stonewash and working finish when I was buying my first Hinderer. I settled on working finish.
