FWIW--the 1/3 HP motor on my delta bogs down if a lot of pressure is applied. otherwise it works fine. Good belts/discs help a lot. the crap I have now doesnt grind anything well. Waiting for my order from Jantz. for me, as a retardedly newbie knife maker who plans nothing other then to make them for friends, give them away and/or charge for materials only, i could care less..it works great. but i stand by my suggestion of getting the craftsmen over the delta..theyre similar but the 2.x42 is better and offers a wider belt selection
