Which is better?

Donno much about the 12c27 stainless version the subsaharan comes in, but I do like that the equatorian comes in either 154cm or s30v...
What I'm looking for is a user (but will not be abused) knife w/ a double edge about halfway down the blade, which both of these have, only light chopping will be done w/ these blades... unless its an emergency.
I do believe that the specs on the subsaharan are off... the site used to put the blade length at 8.5in, it now reads 7 in... ???
What do u guys think?

makes me wonder if they are the same company.. website looks the same and so do the knives.. but the mercworx use more fancy material.. i think their cool but pricey
