  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Which is more practical?

I can't speak on the other knives but the recon one tanto is a great value and a very tough blade. I carry mine as a beater that I use for stuff I wouldn't use my high end stuff for.

On a side note my girlfriend took mine and cut up a bunch of carpet scratching the coating on the sand in the fibers. I used some epoxy stripper to take off the rest of the coating and it has a really nice stonewash under the coating.

I recently bought a black leek. It looks kind of tactical-ish in pictures, but in hand it seems extremely well built but still delicate, as in, however thin you think the blade point is gonna be, it will surprise you how thin it really is when you handle it. if you use it more like a "gentlemans folder" than like a construction workers beater, it will prolly last you a lifetime, but it wouldnt be the knife I choose for most harder use. that being said, I have not been able to leave it home for more than 3 days in the last month or less, since I bought it. How often do you really use a knife "hard" anyway?
