which is safer to work on, G10 to Micarta?

which among the two is safer to work with? I've read that G10 releases glass fibers and Micarta has toxic dust and fumes. I'd like to hear from those who have used both of these materials and who do I need to work on them safely. Our work area is somewhat small and I don't have any experience handling dangerous byproducts.

respirators for sure, and good ventilation. Both will release stuff that can really mess up your lungs.

Neither are good for you, but if I had to occasionally "breathe" one of them -it'll be micarta. Fiberglass sticks inside your lungs and stay's there.

Wear a respirator and neither is an issue. I wouldn't grind either without one.
