Which is the better folder, Strider SnG or Sebenza?

"Better" is just not a good question when comparing such different knives. I own and adore both equally which some can't fathom. Both are extremely well made, unique, fun to own & good investments. If I have to choose between the 2 for carry, I think about the tasks before me on a given day. Either one however will suffice for 99.9% of common tasks.

Like Chesty said, I own and carry both, but not at the same time. It really does depend on what you intend to do with the knife. If I anticipate a knife that I might have to thump on hard, just in case, Strider. If cutting efficiency and overall fit and finish is my mood, Sabenza.

Strider for me anytime, awesome heat treat, cool click sound and also light weight. CRK Ti handle are kind boring and their S35VN isn't very impressive..

For me, I would take an SNG. But I just don't like the Sebenza in the hand. Both are fine knives and will treat you well. Strider's warranty is outstanding. Basically, which one do you like the looks of more? By all means, if you have a local knife shop where you can handle either one I would highly recommend it. There's nothing like buying a very expensive knife only to find out you don't like it in person.

I have a sebenza 25 and love how it feels in hand. I decided on a sebenza instead of a strider because of all the QC issues i have read with them, and personally i feel if you are going to spend that much money on a knife then it should be flawless. The sebenza 25 has a nice hefty weight to it but not overwhelmingly heavy and i feel confident that it will handle anything i throw at it

My Sebenza is the 25 as well. Agree with everything you say regarding it. However, I have both an SnG and an SMF, and they are both good. Not as refined, but no problems with either. As others have said, they are "bad ass" and surprisingly light.

Sebenza hands down but the SNG is an excellent knife in its own right. Not of the same quality as a Sebenza though.

Both are great knives for their intended uses. The better folder is going to depend on what you want it for.
