Dear folks, my most precious knife -- is the C55 Starmate. Love the edge and design.
Besides that, I use the C17 Catcherman. This is also a lovely piece which is great to handle. I never leave on my fishing trips without it.
Apart from both knives, I also carry the C10 Endura on my job which is high risking.
I also made it a point back up my biking trips with a remote release and snap it. My next aquisition will be the Bill Moran featherweight

Let's see...'
I like the angles and "beauty" / "artistry" of a blade, and I also appreciate the "brutishness" in blades such as on the Civilian, Police & Military. The cpm 440V is my favorite steel in Spydercos. The Native is #1 for artistry. The Civilian #1 for brutishness. : )
In order of preference and daily "carri-abilty":
Serrated Military (usually in combo with Native)
Plain Endura (usually in combo with Khalsa)
Serrated Khalsa
Serrated Native
Serrated Micarta Calypso Jr. (usually carry and stare at it's beauty!) LOL

I've had more paper cuts than cuts from knives, but the knives are QUICKLY gaining!

I know that similar polls have been posted, but I love to reiterate my choices

small: Calypso Jr. Ltwt.
large: Military 440V
both plainedge

Now :Plain edged Civilian
In Future I hope that Sal gives me new favorite: Titanium Calypso or Calypso ti or Ti Calypso

This is an easy question:
Wegner, Wegner Jr.

I love these knives.

And so, to all outdoor folks, the knife is the most important item of equipment.

I'm with Hoodoo on this one! The Wegner designs are by far my favorite knifes.

I give the Lum a slight edge in "sexiness", but the Wegner is my all time fave.

If we're talking shape, that's gotta be the plainedge Dragonfly. Nice curves, ergos that are unmatched, flatground... great stuff.

That Vesuvius looks pretty classy. Have to check that out if I ever get a chance up here.

Cheers,

Are "Civillian" still in circulation? How much does it cost to own one of such model now?

Yeah, but I guess the price is definitely up on this one because its rare now...

So far, the Wegner. Its ergonomics can't be beat. Now if I could just get one with VG-10 and a compression lock

A really close second is the Santoku, I use it almost every day. The more I use the Santoku, the more I like it.

Easy! StarMate, fillowed closely by my BF Native. I am so impressed by the latter that I have bought two of the new 440V Natives for my friends.

Defintately have to say the Lum. The Native is up there too, part of the reason I have 3 of them.
