Anyway, one day when we were sitting down and talking, waiting for the next brailer to come into the hold, one of those slow-moving pincers got ahold of a sensitive piece of anatomy on my co-worker. I still remember his little dance with a 5 ft, 20 lb crab attached.

In this case size doesn't matter. Once upon a time in about 1955 a man had a brand new pond dug on his land. No cattle was run there so the pond stayed nice and clean and had mostly a sandy clay bottom.
After he caught us swimming in it the first time skinny dipping he told us that we were always welcome to swim there if we would only wear swimming suits.
One day a couple of close friends and myself stopped by for a swim.
Jimmy and I had suits, Ronald did not. We sat down in the water at the edge to have a smoke and the man showed up.
Jimmy and I both got out to get another cigarette while Ronald stayed in.
It wasn't long and Ronald jumped up with a blood curdling scream.
Hanging from his scrotum was a quite large crawfish!!!! :D
We all started cracking up and the man laughed the loudest and hardest methinks, told Ronald that was a good reason why to wear a suit.
He continued to let us swim there.

Nothing beats minutes fresh king crab, right out of the cooker. Few people have tasted this, as most of the commercial stuff is frozen for transport.

you're correct! - my ship used to do fisheries patrols out of kodiak while i was in the coastguard, we'd board foreign flag fishing boats and factory ships to check compliance, we'd usually wind up with a load of king crab legs which the stewards would cook to perfection! cut down on my mess bill alot. would also trade playboys for japanese saki, went down well with the crab legs.
