Which Khukuri Would You Use...on a Mouse?

Yup, that's the one I speak of. It's a blast

RWS, you have a Baikal Drozd Bumble Bee? I have one totally tricked out w/false suppressor can & red dot sight. Absolutely the most fun you can have with your pants on. I go thru boxes of C02's & milk cartons of BB's most weekends. 500 FPS, 450 RPM. Not very accurate, no, but you don't hit with one shot, you hit with a stream. Got an extra ($40! dang Russkies) clip too.

Fellow forumite shooters, if you haven't shot a Baikal Drozd, you may be missing something.... full auto fun. Google it...

I've got an adapter for using co2 cartridges to fire 6" bolts out of a blowgun. Works great. Firing wire darts into plywood can hardly get them out. Put a laser pointer on it. Works really well with the teflon coated blowguns. don't mid mice, but got invaded by rats about 1 year ago, took forever to get rid of them. The first one I saw in my garage I thought was a opossum. He was huge. 20' Sirupati. quick and can get in the corners.

Yup, that's the one I speak of. It's a blast, as long as you acknowledge it's a toy. Put about 12,000 rounds through mine so far without a hitch.

Published velocity is 350, but most seem to be putting out closer to 500-550

It's a little chincy in some areas, like the take apart stock, and the battery compartment, but overall it's a sturdy reliable little plinker.

Only person I know of that's screwed one up is my father in law who tried to recycle BB's through his. (Heaven knows how expensive they are  )

Good stuff, RWS. Thank you. I'm a man who appreciates my pellet guns. I trust there's no big problems with freezing up at high rates of fire?

500-550 is more than enough for dealing with varmints up close. My Walther handles the local starlings well enough with good pellets - my biggest problem is that the pellets move so slowly, the starlings have time to dodge the pellet on shots over fifteen yards or so. (That just makes it interesting - not only do you have to hold right, but you have the guess which way he's going to go on takeoff and how fast he'll be going for the proper lead...makes me think of WWII flak guns. I hope they missed as often as I do.) For the record I bought that Walther for rainy day pistol practice, not pushing back the starling horde, but if the shoe fits...

I will definitely look into this. Consider it added to the "Stuff Satori Shouldn't Buy Because He's Saving Up for a Ural but Will Anyway" list.

Russian gear chincy? Who woulda thunk it? :) I own seven Russian firearms and I'm looking into buying one of their bikes. The chincy factor is what makes the stuff so cool. ;)

Which Khukuri Would You Use...on a Mouse? Is this a trick quiz?

Forget the calender, yesterday was the first day of Spring in my acre of Eastern Montana. It finally smelled like it. All the buds on trees and shrubs are about to pop. You can smell Sage again. The Women in town are happy, smiling, and when I last checked, talking excitedly about who saw the first Robin.

EXCITING INDEED! ;) ;) ;)

Munk, I will loan you my two hell hounds ~ pit bull/boxer and a boxer/great dane. The mouse will die. Then again, make sure that your home insurance is paid up. When they have something in their sights they aren't real particular about not knocking over the kitchen table, chairs, small barn yard animals, large pieces of farm equipment, etc. :D They catch gophers and squirrels in the back yard; unfortunately sometimes the critters hide down their holes. This is a bad thing for stevo, as the dogs do not take "no" as an answer from said critters. These two work in symbiotic harmony like two bionic earth movers, leaving craters bigger than those on the dark side of the moon! I digress. If you want them for a week I'll put them on the next Greyhound to Montana.

Yes, munk, you are correct. It is akin to cutting off your arm because you are suffering from a mosquito bite on your elbow. I never claimed that it was an elegant solution, only that the ratonito would perish. :D On the other hand, they are very kid and dog friendly. I guarantee that your kids would enjoy them.

Sound's like a case where the cure is worse than the crime.

Those mice will do that to you.

Call Sylvester or TOM.... it's cheaper than replacing all of your furniture!
