I got my Spyderco Caly 3 a couple days ago and i've gotten 3 cuts already. In the first 5 minutes of playing with it my thumb on my right hand got a tiny clean cut. So I switched to playing with it with my left hand and my index and thumb were also cut. Surprisingly I have never been bit with my Benchmade 42 balisong. Be warned, the Caly 3 is one sharp knife because I didn't even realize I was cut until I saw some of my blood on the knife handle.
 
my 32...i didn't have a 42 yet, and wanted to learn some tricks on a good bali, so I used my 32...dam that 32 has one sharp D2 blade

You have to pay careful attention to where all your digits are when opening or closing this thing. On closing the thing, it acts like a little guillotine. It will take the end of your finger off.

It only got me once, tho. Its been in the box since then!

i must still think about which knife bit me most, a few knives bit me, but i think all of them only once :/

altho, that U2 is tiny and fisty, it scares me as much as it fascinates me
i dread the day when it bites
it seems so sharp that it'd take a finger clean off
 
I was putting an edge on a new Case CV Sudbuster Jr, a few months ago. While cleaning the blade I took a chunk of my finger tip off. Grew back just fine, but still waiting for the nerves to jive up. Note: Not my trigger finger or one of my guitar fingers. :) Just my free flying bird finger. M
 
My most infamous ones are long gone. getting cut is the sign of a beginner. ;)
 
My Griptilian, when I swing it closed in a one handed move it closes very fast. It has taken the skin off of my right middle finger several times as it snaps shut.
 
My Delica. Never anything really serious, just a bunch of cuts here and there.
 
a knife is baptised with the Blood of Thine impure Sanctity when it cuts you, from that point on you two belong together and the knife is yours forever


..or omething like that :D
 
This @#$#%^ Schatt & Morgan toothpick has cut me more than all my other knives combined.

Combine a back spring that's 3X too strong with a shallow nail nick set too close to the pivot and you get a knife that loves to snap back and bite you when it's being opened.

my E.T. is the one that has bitten me the most! got to remember not to play with it while watching the noise box! :D
