Which knife impresses you the most?

For me, it would have to be the Sebenza. I had always wondered what it was with this knife to make it so popular, especially for the price. After collecting knives for a few years, I decided on getting a Seb for myself and I now know what it is about this knife that has knifeknuts entranced in an almost religious-like following.

Call me crazy, but in all seriousness, I have lost almost all interest in continuing my knife collecting. Unless it's going to be another Sebbie, of course... :D

Buck 110. I've never seen or own another folder that locks up as tight with absolutely no blade play as my old 110.

Al Mar SERE 2000...even though I don't really carry it often, I can't bring myself to selling it. The action and finish are just so amazing that I have to have it around as a point of reference.

Also...my Swamp Rat Camp Tramp. Hell of a knife for the price.

Brian Tighe's knives always keep me interested too.

The one knife I still remember is my old Schrade Old Timer Stockman. The blades were carbon steel, and ALWAYS sharp. I cut twine, dug in dirt to check seed plant depth, skinned squirrels, and on, and on, and on.

I wish makers would offer more carbon steel blades.......

My Fallkniven NL2 Odin.

It is big, balanced, sharp, and is the most beautiful knife I have ever owned.

It's great to use, but I regularly find myself just admiring how perfect it is.

That's an incredibly tough question! I want to mention at least a half-dozen knives that are each amazing in their own ways. However, if I have to pick the most impressive knife it has to be the...

Camillus Aftermath

Darrel Ralph created an outstanding design. Camillus produced it with uncompromising quality. And Charles Gedraitis custom-anodized mine to dress it up a little more. It doesn't get any better than this.

This is my EDC.

The Spyderco Military.

It is light-weight without being too light.
It has a big handle and a big blade without being too big.
It is very strong without being over-engineered.
AND it cuts like crazy!!!

Good luck,
Allen.

stjames,

I was thinking the same thing. I've got one in my pocket as I type this.

Great selection of knives being named. Keep 'em coming!

OH YEAH....'HEELS RULE!!

As a student at a Big Ten school, is this the part where I'm supposed to tell you to shove it? :D

Probably the Delica or Endura. For the price, what else cuts like that?

MT UT6 II. I can't get over how much fun it is to fire this knife. Simple, genius design.

It's a tossup between the Benchmade 710 and the Benchmade 943. I have to lean towards the 943 because of the blade size and general size of the knife, and the fact that I have carried it for over a year now.
