Which knife in M390?

I have most of the knives mentioned in this thread (besides the sibert, too thick of a grind, to short to wide overall). I really like both the Para 2 and 581, I'd also take a look a the 710 in M390 as well.

Your continued posting of this picture had provoked me to duplicate it once I get my 710 but I can't figure out what that is in the background. Impeccable taste there. Does that 710 just almost fall open like the AFCK does?

Thanks for all the advice guys. I think the conclusion I have come to is that I will be picking up both a pm2 and benchmade in M390. It's for the best, it would just be a matter of time before I tried both anyway. :D
10 posts & you already have so much figured out. When torn between two winning choices, the answer is usually "both". Diamonds will make sharpening a pleasure with this steel.

My vote is for the PM2 or the BM 710. Both are amazing knives, and both are in my top 3 (along with my brand new ZT 050).

You cant go wrong with any knife made out of M390. :) Seriously, its an awesome steel, highly recommend it. I have the 710, 755, and 581 and love them all.

Just for certainty, he's not being facetious. :D

What's up with the zombie threads lately. It's like they're spreading . . .

+1 for the BM 710 M390. I have one, plus the 710 D2. The rounded spine on the M390 is a nice touch.

Another one for the Military C/F M390, my favorite knife and EDC of all time.

I believe there are still black bladed AFCK's in M390 from the original dealer. If you don't get an M390 Millie, I recommend the AFCK over the other M390 models.

Ditto the Benchmade 806 AFCK with M390 (and 806-D2 is no slouch either). They come stonewashed as welll as black. The M390 is much more stainless compared with the D2 model. It is better for salt water fishing, etc. I'd lke to see a strength between the AFCK and the Military. I'd bet on the AFCK just because it isn't as thin and pointed.

I suspect, due to the age of the original post, most of the knives talked about here are no longer available.
Another zombie thread awakens.

Those black Benchmade string tie bags are cool for storing your good sunglasses in though. ;-)
