It was indeed a prop knife made by John Browning, who also made the Crocodile Dundee knife. The shape of the blade resembles a dive knife and the resin handle seem to be inspired by the Puma lockback.

Bottom half serrated, aggressive clip point and I assume, back lock near the pinky (terrible) or someone is really worried about how comfortable the pinky finger is when holding it. I'd definitely pass this by if it was a real knife.
