I've got a D'Allara, a Assist, and I'm wanting to expand my Spyderco collection a little bit. Choices:
Spyderco Military- Black Plain Edge
Spyderco Military, Carbon Fiber Handle, S90V, Plain
Spyderco Para Military Model Black Plain
Spyderco Police 3 G-10
Now, I love G-10, so I'm not sure how much I (or my wallet) am going to like the CF handled Military. The Para is there because I have several liner locks, but no compression lock, and I was wondering how that would be.
I also prefer the tip up carry on my knifes, but the tip down/left hand option is one that I like. Maybe a 4 way millie in the works?
I am looking to EDC this knife, as I will use it heavily. I don't have a knife in S30V yet, so I'm leaning towards the black millie. However, how does the S90V compare in terms of edge retention and ease of resharpening? I've heard that the blade tends to be more brittle and chip more readily then VG-10 or S30V.
