Which knife(s) to take?

Hello, I've been acquiring a few knives this winter in preparation for some outings this year. Up until now I basically had only 3 knives that served me, 2 Moras and a BK2. I would take the BK2 but didn't use it much because the handle was to small. I've recently fixed that! Anyway, after a couple surgery's, my wife's leg is now fixed enough where she can walk well enough to accompany me on some hikes, and possibly an overnight or 2. So, I've been preparing and I'm thinking about knife selection, now that I have a selection! What I'm thinking is for a simple shorter hike, I'll take a 'mid-sized' one knife approach. Probably one of these:

For a longer, all day type outing, I'll probably add one of these to the above:

And finally, for an overnighter, I'll need a larger 'camp knife'. Currently this is all I have:

But I do plan on adding a larger knife, probably no more that a 6.5" or so blade. For an overnighter, I'll also bring a folding saw, currently a Fiskers. I guess the overnighter also depends on if we hike in or drive the Jeep in and camp out of the Jeep.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.

If the handle on a BK2 is too small for you, the handle on a BK7 or BK9 will also be too small since they all have the same size handle. Also, I'm a little confused. Beckers have some of the largest handles in the production knife market. You say the BK2 handle is too small for you, yet all the other knives pictured have even smaller handles. I'm hesitant to make a suggestion because it's not clear what will work for you....?

Grab that orange Mora in any case and give that to your wife. Then grab a small axe and one of those fiddlebacks. I like the yellow handle for fun color. Then you grab a knife a bit different from the yellow fiddleback, for example, for yourself to go back and forth and compare them. See what they do good and how it works for you and what you like. You gotta try all of them eventually.

Maybe he meant 62....

Sorry for the confusion. Perhaps I should have explained a little better, or drawn a picture. On the image below, the space between the yellow lines is what is to small. It felt like my fingers were being squeezed together. So I fixed it by using a dremel to the area in the orange circle. I lengthened the area where my fingers go. I'll probably fix it a little more soon. If you notice the other knives in the pictures above, none of them have the heel on the butt of the handle like the BK2.

You’re gonna have the same issue with every full size Becker. They all use the same scales.

Surprised the BK16 fits your hand then.

I think the 62 is the medium everything knife if you have a saw. Wood processing is a task it doesn't excel at but can handle. It handles everything else very well, especially the cooking part. One of the best slicers I've used in the woods.

The handles are easily 'fixed'. Buy some wood or micarta scales and grind the back heel. Refinish the wood.

I am too. But they do. Haven't done anything 'real' with the knife. Currently packing to go out for a nice long hike. Going to try to find something dry enough to burn.

From the big hand tribe myself. I have a BK16 coming in. Thinking of making extended handles for it. It doesn't fit my hand at all, way too short.

Warrior, does your hand fit the full size becker handle comfortably?

I haven't used the 16 yet, but I think it will be comfortable enough.

My handyman is definitely comfortable, and I've been out with it a couple times.

Yea, it wasn't much, maybe 3/16". I need to take the scales off to see how much metal is left in that area. Today I will be taking the BK16 and the Bushcraft Sr. Maybe they can help me find something dry enough to burn.
