Which knife to be tested on tour?

I'll stay tuned for sure. Both the F1 as well as the Glock Field knife, both interest me a great deal. The Glock field knife, while simplistic in terms of blade steel is pretty darn tough and should make a fine "abuser".

Ok guys,
I will be bringing the F1 and the Glock. The trip starts at the end of the month. I will be posting lots of pics after the return

Cool, I would have taken a HEST just because I've already put the Rowen and Lionsteel versions through years of testing and trust them (especially the Rowen made ones due to longer carry), then taken something else to test. I like the design and I like the size. I always have one on me when things are frozen out. So for me further tests of the HEST would be of only marginal interest.

I have had a few of the Glock field knives and though I really like the concept, I don't like the factory edge geometry or the rounded handle. When TOPS released their new Ranger Bootlegger with the saw back at the Blade show back in June I was fortunate enough to be able to arrange for one with a custom full flat grind and I like it much better than the Glock for cutting performace. So curious to see the thoughts of others there and use in the field. Also I have a Fallkniven A-1 that I like but have been wanting a smaller Fallkniven and have been trying to decide between the F-1 and the S-1 for some time, so more tests of either of those is of interest to me.

Ok, since there is some interest for the F1 and the Glock and the Rold, I will try to bring them all. I'll probably scare the other ones off and will be alone on the trip:D
