Which knife waves the best?

I've noticed that some Emerson's seem to wave better than others. You could say it all comes down to technique, but I'd argue the easier it is for a knife to wave, the better that knife is at waving than other knives. I personally think the roadhouse or 7 series waves the easiest. My friend swears the commander is the hardest emerson to wave. What do you guys think?

Just my experience.

Commander is the best / easiest to wave, but then again I carry it 6 days a week 8-11 hours a day.

Horseman is the worst / most difficult. I can't wave that knife consistently no matter how much I try.

My little guy has no problem with it so there ya go!

I agree about the Commander and also about the original Horseman. Try a newer one with the "fuller", more proud wave. Night and day difference, in fact makes it an excellent "waver".

I find the CQC-10 to wave extremely well too. I think it's lack of thumbdisk helps in that way since it allows the pocket to follow the spine of the blade tighter (I still wish the ten had a disk though).

I've had my Horseman for a year and I can already wave my new 7 i got for Christmas better than the Horseman

My CQC-7 mini waves the best with the Commander second.

The horseman and Journeyman the worst.

My 10 is by far the simplest to wave. Mini Commander and the 7 I had were pretty good as well as the Gentleman Jim.

Yea the Horseman with the dinky wave is fairly bad at it. It's doable bit it takes more technique than just pull.

No kidding?
I honestly had no idea there was a "2nd gen" horseman.

Got a 13, a 15, a commander, and a 8. Also a spyderco delica wave. The spyderco wave opens the easiest by far, and the most reliable for myself. Yeah I know.....but it's deep hook design just works really easily.

I hate to say it but my Spyderco Endura waves the best for me. I've only owned a Emerson CQC7 and Commander. The Endura is 100% everytime. I'm a Spyderco Endura fan so take it with a grain of salt.

The combat karambit waves best for me when compared to my 7 and 14, but they wave great out of sweatpants or exercise shorts.

CQC-15 is best for me compared to my 7 and Road House but all three do quite well.

The spyderco endura does wave the best, that suckers just deep. It also opens a beer the easiest, with the roadhouse coming in second. I feel like opening beers was part of its design intention.

Here is a 2011 Horseman. Bit of a close up but the differences in the waves are clear.
