Which knife would the original James Bond have carried with todays current knives?

I don't mean the whimpy James Bond like Roger Moore. Rr the tiny fighting chiahuahas like Pierce Brosnan and Tomithy Dalton who couldn't knock out a 140lb man. Nor the steroid puffed up Daniel Craig (he only puffs up for the movie, after that he deflates).

I am referring to the original and only REAL James bond>>>>>>Sean Connery.

From the knives available in todays current market, which would he carry???..

We know he needs a stealthy slim knife. Something light and stealthy so his suit pants down't way down. Similar to the .380 caliber Walther PPK he carried.

Most would assume he would have carried a automatic or out the front knife... He would need something for dire circumstances and that would not fail with vicious stabbing slashing.

I would think he would want a narrow blade with good blade to grip ratio like a benchmade 710. Or a tanto Emerson style...Or a microtech??...

but needs to be carried with a deep pocket carry grip so the handle does not stick out. Something stealthy!

So which knife would the original James Bond in todays world of current knives have carried?

There is only 1 James Bond 007:

To me, I would see him with a small, non flashy folder. Kershaw Leek or Benchmade 530. Though with the UK's current laws, it would have to be a slip joint. So something made in Sheffield.

That's funny, when I read the title the first thing I thought of was the 710. One could also say the Spyderco Military, but for James Bond, the ease of the axis lock would win out I would think.

I would think with a licence to kill..he would be above any laws.

I'm thinking some sort of small skeletonized knife in one of todays super steels, that or as squash said, a slippie.

As colubrid mentioned, everything is better with pictures.

Post some pictures of the knives you think he would have.

You can always use a google picture if you don't have one of your own pics.

remember also that Bond wore a suit most of the time with slacks. Nothing heavy to weigh the slacks down.

Definitely a William Henry. Not one of the blinged ones, just simple small and precise.

Grizz

Their up:thumbup:
And for those of us who don't have the slightest clue what a 710 is or what it looks like (myself included),

I agree with the 710 beating out the Millie.. But I am waiting for the auto experts to chime in here.. as I am not familiar with the models that James Bond would pick?

I would think something to match his Austin Martin and the Walther PPK.

That is gorgeous, reaffirms my decision to put in a order with him as soon as I can.

Bond is a Soldier and a gentleman. Something classy and versatile with a military heritage, so I'm going with a Victorinox Soldier.
Mine from 4 years ago, still in the pocket today. I have a different phone and car now, same knife. I have knives worth 10X this knife, but I carry the Soldier.
