Which knife would the original James Bond have carried with todays current knives?

He never seemed to have any preference for knives. He would use them, but basically whatever was available.

Either a Chris Reeve Sebenza or a Henry Williams.......or the producers for that movie would have something custom made.....

Benchmade Torrent. It has a similar blade to the 710. It has a polished deep carry clip. The G10 handle is elegant and doesn't look like garbage, like the 710 does. It is assisted. Torrent all day.

I don't know what knife he would have used but he would most certainly be deaf. When Glidrose decided to bring him back in books in 1981, John Gardner wrote a lot of them for years. He had James Bond new car as a Saab I believe. Anyway the car had a secret compartment for a .44 mag Ruger Blackhawk. The car had a port he could shoot thru. 1) How could he hit anything without sighting 2) our 007 would be deaf from the blast going off in the car. Can you imagine.

Given that James Bond had a license to kill, I don't think he had to worry about knife laws
.

He traveled incognito as a salesman for Universal Exports, Ltd. You just don't stroll around the world as an international double ought secret agent and remain effective for long, or alive. :)

So, a shaving kit for those times. In the UK, whatever the heck he wanted. Hell, a Bren gun under his $9000 raincoat.

ProTech Defiance Tuxedo Damascus Limited Edition, Chad Nichols raindrop pattern, hidden button... gentlemanly, stylish, and 'gadgety' all in one knife.

Security issues could be resolved with a sheath. Q Branch could design it to defeat metal detectors and body scanners. Actually I suspect it would be a 3-4 inch fixed blade, double edged.

However, I think he would more likely have a custom multitool from Q branch much like the OSS pliers knife. Perhaps a modern version of this.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1398572508.602560.jpg

I think the modern Bond should be updated with a Rolex Deepsea.

Possibly a can of dip as well (cigarettes are going out of style).

Aah, f**k James Bond. That English douche needs to learn to keep his finger off the trigger until he's ready to shoot.

loooool first time I heard this from another person. Kudos to you my friend. Terrible firearm discipline in movies always get's to me. People crossing or standing in lines of fire, lousy trigger discipline etc... amazing

I'm throwing out my vote for the Spyderco Centofante memorial knife, seems like a Bond knife to me!
