Which knife would you keep???

If you girl friend is giving you a hassle about this, you have big problems. She is obviously a control freak and will make your life miserable. You MUST stand up for your self NOW or pay the price later.

Hang tough

Trade Girlfriends?
hahaha.
At 35, my sweetheart still models for Wrangler jeans,is a size 1,blonde hair,109 pounds.Oh yeah.
Where I live, she is up on a billboard on the major road through town. Thats what I call Man points.
She likes going to gun and knife stores.

You could tell her you agree to only have as many knives as she has pairs of shoes, or purses, lol!

Simple- tell her you like the knives. It is obvious she does not like them. If you like them, keep them. If you don't, then get rid of them. How would she react if you told her to get rid of most of her (jewelry, shoes, clothes, whatever) because they are superfluous?

...beneath my car to sell my watches?;):D

OK I see your point! I do think I'd like to inspect those watches a little better though. They may well be knock-offs!:D

Seriously I don't see her point. Nice car, expensive toys & hobby, and as long as she's involved in everything else why does the knife issue even come up? A new set of speakers isn't out of the Q? New gauges are way more. Tell her you've got flaws ( beer & knives) and she should love you in spite of them!:D

Sounds like something my first wife would have requested. Knives are inexpensive, at least the ones I buy. Heck, you've already spent the money and selling second hand will probably result in a loss. If she's worried about the money spent, brown bag lunch for a couple weeks.

She's telling you what to do with your stuff and you aren't even married. Bad sign.

Yep, your in big trouble if you sell them. That will probably be the start of her controlling all you have or do. And that my friend will not be fun. My ex taught me that the hard way. See, ex's are good for something after all!!!

After two marriages and a collective 28 years of marriage, my advice is simple - Listen to the suggestions of the gents in this thread.

Knives are something that you enjoy. They are important to you. If she is telling you to get rid of them, it means she is trying to get you to prove your love by forcing you to give up important things. She wants to see how much you are willing to suffer for her. That's sadistic and is the recipe for a long, unhappy relationship.

Hi "tekkie", pleased to meet you here:thumbup:

My girlfriend is the best buddy I ever had but only concerning recreational diving...of course she knows how much TD equipment costs but for me as a dealer only half the normal price;)

In her humble opinion all my other hobbies are okay...knives are superfluous as she told me. That´s the reason why I´ll shrink my collection.

Grow a pair and keep them all.

Haha, did you post this thread only to be able to post silicon breasts and a BMW grill? People around you not giving you enough attention to please your brittle ego?

I'm unimpressed, so sell them all.

First, buy some more knives that's a nice collection you have there!
Then tell her to keep her nose out of what she doesn't appreciate, she'll love you all the more for it! Nice wrists you are showing off those watches on though....
