That is goddam excellent! Well-loved tools and the way they were photographed! I especially like the slim machete! Thanks for sharing!

Mine is the bottom one in the pic, it is chisel ground because I like that, the top one is a scaled up on that is not

Hands down my Esee6 has seen more miles of the woods around my house than most critters.

The one knife that I use the most is a Spyderco Clipit Endura. It was made in Seki City and has a fully serrated G-2 stainless blade. It will go along time in between sharpenings and zips through boxes, packages zip ties, 'etc'. I do not however; like a partially serrated edge on any knife.

This year, I've been getting a lot of use out of my Fiddleback Forge Camp Knife, hidden tang KPH and Carver, along with some old Western Hunters. Pics of my Fiddlebacks:

Normally I'll also have a 12"-14" Machete or a light weight Khukri straped to my pack on trips. The 12" Ontario Cutlas Machete with D-guard is one of my Favorite small Machetes. My H.I 16.5" WWII model Khukri also see's tons of use. It has helped me clear and make many miles of trails, done yard work and normally goes camping with me. Used it Thursday to make Kindling for the fire:

These, I EDC, but the one I use the most is the Buck Alpha Dorado, immediately to the left of the Fenix light.

Vic Farmer is the most consistent carry knife for me. But I rotate many others, and it would be hard to specify one.

I have one of the old red handled 511's ? that I used for an entire spring and summer cutting sod. I found it in my trunk and it's not pretty. I should treat them with at least a modicome of respect. I think that it's the dirt cheap price that gives me the semi disposable mentality, which I feel is underserved. I just ordered a couple of Companions. I'll try to mend my ways through them.

The S5LE has been great. The side by side photo shows that the S5LE has a least been used but it really doesn't show all the small scratches and rub marks. The War Dog and Pork Shank will be getting a lot of use this fall/winter, but I'm unsure that they can replace the S5LE. The Pork Shank is slightly thinner - .160 vs .250 for the S5LE, so we'll see.

This isn't a ' Which are your favorite knives ' thread, this is a which knives actually see the most use.

Though I carry an EDC knife in town and a woods knife on the trail,

...the knives that see the most use are:

My kitchen knives.

The knife I use most often is probably my SAK Cadet. I've been using them for years, and I'm on number 5 or 6 now. I just switched to the newer model with the file instead of the second smaller blade. I'm in Canada, I work in an office, and my work takes me into a Government building a lot, so this is a nice friendly knife to carry and use there.

A very close second is my Small Sebenza. I used to carry it with me everywhere, but I haven't been carrying it to work lately because I'm afraid of it getting confiscated when I go through the metal detectors. They look the other way with the SAK (because they know me, and probably in part because of the light connected to it) but I don't want to risk it with the Sebenza :)

My EDC is either my ZT560 or Spyderco Para 2, and they are used daily.... While camping or day hikes my three most used are a RAT RC6, Spyderco Bush Crafter, or my Skookem Bush Tool. I have had a ton of knives and sold most of them. Some were very expensive and more of a status symbol to own them, but the above blades were what I always reached for and kept. I liked my Busse, Strider and so on knives, but functionaly the ones I kept work well for me.

Mine would be the Vic Executive that I've carried every day (unless on a plane) that I've had pants on, for the last 27 years.

MY most used knife around the house is a cheap as chips (less than a pint of Guinness) Sanrenmu G10 linerlock. I have several scattered around the house. They take a hair-popping edge, are easy to use one-handed and are really remarkable quality for the price:

Next to that, in the house, would be any of a number of SAKs.

Outdoors, the most used is probably my Fallkniven TK2. It takes an edge that I know won't need topping up until I get home again, and probably not for a few trips. It's the middle one in the row:

Only just in second place to the TK2 is my Busse HHFSH which comes out for the big jobs. It is simply the best (thanks Tina Turner) and is as close to perfect (for me) as it could be:

Use my zt 0350 every day for everything. What's the point of a knife you don't use? My whole point for buying An expensive knife was the quality of the materials to be able to take abuse. So far it hasn't failed.

Samek's knives and field tools are awesome! What a great collection of used and refurbished blades. My most used outdoors knives are an old Cold Steel Pro-Lite(been everywhere) and an ESEE-3, along with a stockman usually.
