Which knives/steels have held up to rust the best?

PM2, Avispa, Rat 1, Centofante 3, Delica 4, my stripped Junglas(go figure), my Tram trail machete(again, go figure). So, S30V, AUS-8, VG-10, 1095, 1045-1075? All have been put to work, sweated on, been soaked with water...all still good.

I lived in Taiwan (Taipei) for many years (1985 to 1993) and my Victorinox Spartan SAK never rusted. Although it did get lots of gunk in the inner workings, because at the time, I rarely cleaned it. After I returned Stateside, I finally thought to clean it out, and everything was fine. If something can resist corrosion while being carried/used in Taiwan over several years, I'd say it's very corrosion-resistant.

Earlier this week, a guy posted pictures and a story on the Victorinox Facebook page about a Vic Pioneer that was found after having been buried for approximately 35 years in moist Dutch soil. The aluminum scales were heavily pitted, but the blade and tools were still rust free.
