Which kuk?

Why something as big as 20"?? probably 15-18" would be more than enough for cutting bushes and stuff like that.

I have a very sharp (thanks for the advice on how to sharpen kuks guys!!) 15" siru, and its the one I use for small bushes, and it works great.

I imagine, that since you work in public, you don't want to carry a sword

I'd forgotten all about my Foxy Folly too. Its 17", wide blade, feels very light in the hand and is a beauty too. Or my 21" chainpuri, which is pretty like a chitlangi.

Oh heck, you can't just buy one, get a bunch!

I want a 20" for good reach. With a decent sized handle and lightishweight. Is the chitlangi a prettier sirupati is there any real difference while using it? I may also buy a short 12 or 15" kuk at some time in the future.

The profile of the BGRS makes it very good at slicing and chopping, more so than you might expect from a khukuri its size.

Well now ill just assume that the chitlangi and sirupate work exactly the same bladewise since no-one can tell me otherwise. What im curious of is why none of the other kuks have a bell handle like the chitlangi? Is there a reason for that?

I'm having a hard time finding information on the Foxy Folly and BGRS. How long and heavy are those?

Chainpuri have a bell pomel, another light kuk.

The weight on FF and BGRS will vary like all others, but around 26-28oz for a 17-18" FF is good and 24-28oz is good for a 16-18" BGRS (I have a 16" 24oz BGRS and it is my favorate user). There are other sizes and weights that both come in, but those are the most common.

Here are 2 threads about my FF and BGRS. The FF one talks a little about the weight.
