Which Liner-Lock knives do you trust the most?

Kershaw JYD II, it's very thick and solid.

Cold Steel Ti-Lite, very assuring and firm 'clink' and the shape of the lock (bent into L shape) further stiffens the lock bar.

And my CRKT M16 Titanium with Lawks. The lock in mine was nicely executed and the Lawks function puts my mind at ease...

Based on using a Kershaw Boa about 363 days out of any year for 4 or 5 years straight and NEVER having a lock failure - I do trust the locks on them. That's why I bought a semi-beater off the forum a little while ago - I don't just trust this design - Hell - I respect it and the people who designed and assembled it.

Most of the Spyderco Military model knives I've owned were reliable - even the older "flexy flyer" ones.

The older Benchmade 800 series knives I've owned were reliable.

The Benchmade 910 knives have proven reliable - as long as you don't inadvertently unlock it due to "fat" fingers, the usual cause of failure that I've seen and experienced.

A good friend of mine has a CRKT with AutoLAWKS.

It looks fairly trustworthy, although it makes the knife a little tricky to close.

Ive got a couple of Klotzli knives which are excellent. The build quality is right up in the Chris Reeve/William Henry level. The liner locks on these knives are as solid as any lock out there.

ZT 0200, Kershaw JYD II, Kershaw SG2 Blur, Kershaw Lahar, and Spyderco Tuffram and CF Crickets.

Of course, these are the only liner locks I've spent real time carrying. I've never had a problem with any I've listed.

The 0200's lock is incredibly solid, I trust it more than a lot of frame locks I've seen.

The Cricket's were surprisingly good considering the abuse they got. I generally treated them like much bigger knives, doing some pretty heavy cutting.

I will also agree on Spyderco as well!! They make GREAT knives!!:thumbup:

I don't have any liner-locks at the moment, but my Buck-Strider drop-point was beefy and reliable, so I trusted it a lot (mind you, I didn't do questionable things like whack it on the spine to see if I could cut any fingers off:rolleyes:). I have confidence in my 110, Voyagers, Mini-Rukus and 710 Axis locks, but I do not rely on mechanical devices to be failsafe. Used properly, they're all reliable, as are my slipjoints.

I trust the Benchmade 425 gravitator liner lock more then any other liner lock I have seen. I dare you to find a thicker, stronger, more burly liner lock. I dare you.

my benchmade 690 is the standard i judge other liner locks by. right up there with ZT 200. my buck tarani has been very good to me as well.

I gotta agree that the ZT 0200s and the Striders are up there with the best of them.

Ageed.
It's more of a frame-lock with scales.
You could practically hammer nails with the spine on that one.
