WoodWorkGhost said:Guys,
You have answered your own question. Almost all of the makers listed here have very limited production. I don't think Jim Fikes has a phone. I know a few years back you had to leave a message and someone would get it to him.
Wulf you echoed,
Russ Andrews: Due to health reasons he made knives in the single digits last year.
Dan Farr has made only single digits since the Blade Show last year.
Michael Connor: Does he even still make knives??
Nick Wheeler: Single Digits for the last year.
Walter Brend: From January 2005 through Feb 2006 all he made were the Anniversary knives (and a few for memebers of the Military).
Lee Williams: Single digits for the last year.
THe list goes on. Guys if the makers don't have them to sell...the dealers can't get them.

Robbin Hudson, I know you mean. Good choice. (These days you need to be specific. There is a Rob Hudson whose work is readily available, nicely made, and MUCH cheaper. But he is a smaller stock-removal maker from PA.) Another case of low production.Keith Montgomery said:Retailer sites for me are just eye candy, but I would love to see more Tim Zowada and Rob Hudson knives.
