I've decided, e next knife I get will be a Manix 2, but which one should I get? I'm pretty sure I only plan on getting the g10 versions so should I get the normal size or go for the xl? Thanks!

Normal size is plenty for me but what do I know; I bought the LW.

PS: used mine at work today.

I would go for the S110V Manix 2. It's a lot lighter than the standard and has upgraded steel.

Yeah I would go with either of the s110v models one is in FRCP dark blue and one is a "Blurple" G10, Im not sure but the Blurple couldve been a sprint run

the blurple may have been a sprint run but now its on a regular production run.
imo you should get the regular sized manix... either get:
1. the g-10 handles with skeletonized liners (available on the blurple which you can buy from a retailer or alternatively some sprint run manixes have skeletonized liners)
2. or any of the lightweight models (@$80 bucks the LW BD-1 is a great option & BD-1 is a much easier steel to sharpen )

My own favorite Manix 2 is definitely the XL. It was the first Spyderco I got, it's a great work knife and I won't part with it. Does need a deep carry clip though.

Bring on the S110V XL!

I agree with everyone who suggested the blurple S110v model. It's really quite a thing to feel and use. The strength of steel liners, without the weight of the s30v model. Win/win and with better steel, and with very cool color scales. More sheeple friendly while being quite attractive. Not yet another black knife.

I don't like featherweight tools, so I'd pick one with the steel frame. But to each his dentifrice.
