Which member’s knife collection do you admire the most?

Thanks Brother Appreciate it . Still have my MT Surefire serialized combo collaboration I’ll post up for you I think you’ll like . Think I’ve had it about a year and never used just admired beautiful.

That’s the main one I thought about when posting this thread.

Ahh but the question was who’s do you “covet/admire/experience jealousy about”. If you don’t, then you don’t have an applicable answer.

I mean, the second sentence is indeed a complete answer. 🤷

I went back and checked, and didn't see where "If you aren't jealous of anyone's collection, then don't answer" was specified. 🤣

I admire my own collection of knives. They aren’t anything special for any reason other than I like them and im satisfied with what I have. I have my own taste and what I consider valuable to me and what I can use them for. I’ve seen some really impressive collections some people have and that’s good for them but their collection may not include knives I would particularly appreciate as much as some I have or would like to have. Some very ornate knives are nice to look at but I wouldn’t care to have them because I would be scared to scratch, break or lose them. I like more plain, ordinary knives that are durable and very useful. That’s all I have to say about that !

Not trying to start anything but the question was “who’s collection do you admire?”. Not “do you admire/covet” anyone else’s collection or not?”.

I am curious that you seem to want to continue this when others said essentially what I'd said, and you haven't called them out for it. Not that it matters, I suppose. Either way, everyone here has knives that others admire, soooo.....

Have a safe flight.

I haven't seen all of it, but I admire what I have seen of WValtakis WValtakis collection. Lots of really cool mechanisms in that one.
Thank you! I definitely lean towards the quirky ones and the sneaky autos...I never stop finding neat ways that "folding knife" has been done over the years.

There ya go. Too many here have at least something that I admire, and if I admire it enough, I’ll go looking for a copy for myself (are your ears ringing yet, Quiet Quiet ??? 😆 ). It’d be impossible for me to try to single one out.
Yeah, and throw a dog , cat , other critter or plant based live form , into the pic ...and you've stolen my heart . 🥰

Pretty much everyone that has been a member here for over 20 years & posts mostly in the Custom Knife sub.
It doesn’t have to be a custom posted in the custom knife sub IMO to make it a great collection.
Most importantly Doesn’t have to be a custom knife collection to be admired. I have many cold steel knives that aren’t customs that I am proud to have in my modest collection.
Many folks can’t afford a solely custom knife collection including myself . Sometimes it’s more about what makes you happy and the quality along with usefulness for there application and needs .

I agree for the most part, but those members have the collections I admire the most. Building a custom knife collection takes two things: a significant amount of disposable income and patience—both of which I lack. I'm content with my collection and admire many others' production knife collections, but if I had those two things, my collection would probably look very different.

A few members who have shared their pieces have a nice lot and I can appreciate the dedication and effort required to acquire that assortment but I am by no means jealous or feeling covetous over them as I dont want a large pile of knives [personally] and every time its gotten too big I downsized--- so i guess I dont have am applicable answer as well, but I  do have one😉

I guess your original post can be taken in different ways. Your current post now I have a tendency to agree more with 👍🏻
