which military knife co would you partner with?

I would look at Buck knives. I have about a dozen 110's that been hard used and still work well. Some are about 20-30 years old and still take an edge and lock solid. That's saying a lot for a cheap knife. They also have the ability to mass produce.

I have seen as many people carry Mora's as I have seen carry any custom knives in my 21 years in. I have seen 1 Randall Model 14 as a high dollar knife. Mostly the air crew survival knives, leatherman tools, kabars. What ever is either issued or cheap at the local exchange is what dominates. And this is from working with both Army and Marines.

The most issued knife in the Military would be the M-9 bayonet. Yeah it's a bayonet but when all is said and done it's a knife. Even though the Army doesn't train Basic Trainees in the bayonet anymore they still receive unit training on bayonet techniques. And one thing for sure is that every unit from Infantry to Maintenance to Cooks will have a bayonet issued along with their rifle.

Second would be the Ontario Pilot's Survival Knife. It's issued to Air Force pilot's and Army pilot's. Not sure about Navy/Marine pilot's but they probably have them too. Airborne Jumpmasters are usually issued one to cut towed jumpers.

Although Benchmade knives are available, they are not generally issued. Units will usually order them for their personnel. They may or may not get them depending on how the supply system is feeling.

Ohhh and I would go with ESEE Knives.
