Which Mora knife? Numbers so confusing!

Here I go again with the hair dryer. If you heat up the end of the sheath and press down while it cools you can get it as tight as you want.

I have a carbon triflex model that I've abused. It's a few years old now. I haven't tried the new companion models. Maybe I'll give them a go. I've cut the belt attachment loop off of mine as I found the knife nearly impossible to retrieve from the sheath with only one hand. And, I didn't want to trust it again, after it rattled out on me before. Others on this forum have posted about losing their Mora's while on a hike. On the plus side, if you cut off the belt loop as I did and use the sheath to hold your knife in your pocket, you'll have a very lightweight fixed blade knife.

So if i put the mora companion or some other mora in my bag, would the sheath come out if it is jostled and i reach into my bag to get it?

Is the companion's sheath the best mora sheath?

The Companion, HighQ, and TopQ lines all share the same sheath. The Bushcraft series also features an excellent sheath. It seems that they're slowly updating and upgrading their whole line.

I guess imay go for the companion. So the companion has the new sheath compared to the 711 etc?

my companion MG (i got it from baryonyxknife). excellent knife and more than worth every penny i paid for it.

That Companion MG is very nice. I've been carrying mine a lot lately. Also, don't ignore the Bushcraft Triflex.
