Which Multi-Tool ?

I don't own the Spirit, but I'll throw out a + whatever number we're up to for Victorinox. I've been carrying a Swiss Tool on my belt every day for something like 5 years. I don't use it every day but when I use it it's because I really need it. It's stood up to quite a bit of abuse over the years and everything is still nice and tight and the tools lock up nicely. It's kind of heavy, but I've gotten so used to it that I don't notice it's there 'till I need it.

Leatherman Wave. I tried the Wave and a Vic Spirit and kept the Wave. I've had several Gerber's over the years and they worked well, but didn't have the assortment of tools that the Wave has.

I'm ambivalent about hiking with the Wave -- it's heavy. If I was on an ATV or bike, it would be a #1 choice. I do carry it in my EDC backpack for my urban survival tool.

I'd really like to see Leatherman turn out their K502X knife with a saw instead of the bit holder and a firesteel where the bits are stored in the handle. I think that would make one good survival tool.
