which multitools are used mostly in Iraq

I've heard that Leatherman's are issued to some people, although some SOGs and Gerbers are geared more toward military people.
 
In talking to some troops that returned within the last few months I found that the Leatherman was on most of thier belts; mostly Waves, some Supertools and some original PSTs. These were purchased in PX's before going. Many of the guys saw Gerbers that were issued.
 
I just got back from Iraq in September, Before deploying, all the soldiers in my unit were issued Gerbers. I gave mine to a new soldier later and I carried my Leatherman Wave. I now have the Charge and it will go on the next trip to the Hot place!
