Which Neck Knife?

I very much like the Brous SS, and it gives you a variety of options in terms of blade shape, so I would go with that as long as you can deal with semi-stainless steel like D2. You don't have to deal with that issue nearly as much on the Zombie Green version though, so I say go for it if it works for you :D

My second choice would be the Fred Perrin La Griffe, since the Emerson version really doesn't bring anything that this one does not, and I am not a bug fan of the way Emerson does their steel personally. If you like it though, then either one it good, but I would go for the Fred Perrin version myself is all I'm saying.

I'd go with the Emerson la griffe out of those, but I'd still keep my damascus izula over any of those.

^Please explain what you mean by "compact." The La Griffe is lighter and smaller in almost every dimension?

Disregard the nazi sympathizer, go with the la griffe you'll get more bang for your buck.

what do you want a neck knife for, cutlery lover recently did a video on a very nice one, not the custome the one before, also wranglestar has one

Anyone have both?

I've got the three different blade styles of the Brous SS, I only wish I'd spent that money on a custom Perrin La Griffe!!! I purchased a Mid Tec La Griffe (12C27) a few weeks back - it kills the Silent Soldier from Brous in ergonomics, I've got quite large hands but the smaller La Griffe is more comfortable in the hand...

Just my 2 cent's worth...

Re the La Griffe. I looked at both the Emerson and the Fred Perrin versions and picked the Emerson as the sheath was better. For me; for a neck knife that was crucial.
