BTW, your modified 103...just wow. Buck should really consider making a run of these. the 103MM..103 Martin modified.

I also hope to be able to use the 103 this year. Chances should be pretty good. Maybe even on a bear.

Thanks Flint. That 103 was from the 70's. So, a 440c blade. I thinned the hollow grind, raised the flats, removed the top hump, gave it a longer handle with the pommel. Then I was able to fit a lanyard hole in it. Gave it more point and pressed & pinned it back on with the original hole in the tang. Then shaped the leather disc.
All the labor was worth it. As I really enjoy using it. DM
