Which new models for the new year are you anticipating?

My "wish" list (right now - only being a few days into the new year):

Strider AR framelock

Galyean Pro Series (Lahar, Turbulence, Lg JYD if I can find one) - would like to try the CPM154 steel

Hinderer XM-24

I'm on the fence about the CRK Ti-Lock - I'll wait until they hit the streets and people start posting thoughts / reviews.

I gotta start saving....

I'm more of a "function over form" kinda' guy so it might work well for me. I use every knife I own with the exception of two that have historical significance.

Though not the "prettiest" knife in the world I agree, but the HEST looks like a fine, functional tool for my use. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.:D

They all cut, if it doesn't appeal to me why buy it? I use my knives as well, but don't need a wire cutter, bottle opener, glass breaker. Is it a knife or a multi tool?!

Back on topic, I'm looking forward to the Izula folder. That's a knife, meat and potatoes.

Izula folder. Although I will have to handle one to make sure it feels good in my hand before I actually order one.

I would really like to see a Benchmade Onslaught 741 with a thicker blade...
And they shoul re issue the 806D2...

There is really only one knife I have spoken for in 2011, and that is the KW's BM 805 TSEK in M390 blade steel.

I have sent an email to get a quote from the HTM Custom Shop about getting a Madd Maxx with the bowie blade.

I just sent an email to Ray Laconico about having him build be one of his folders ( Liner lock #27 in the makers knives for sale) in a longer format, a 4.25" blade. He said to contact him back at the beginning of Feb if I still want it built.

I am looking forward to the Boker Kressler Intergal, when/if it gets made.

Several others I really interested in, but will see how these go first!:)

A couple more Boker Plus fixed blades that won't break the bank. A Tom Krein design that is a little larger than the Pocket Bowie, and a Todd Begg designed Ginger Fighter. Both promise to be nice knives.:)
