Which of these knives would you pick?

So pretty much all knives have been recommended except the CRKT Liong mah and the Endorser.

The Liong mah is quite new, so probably not many will have tested this knife already.

The Endorser has been around for a couple of years. any thoughts on that one? I'm considering to get the Endorser off my list and replace it with a bigger knife - the Kershaw Link.

I decided To change my plan a bit ;-)

I raised my budget and decided to pick the following knives:

ZT 0562CF
Cold Steel Recon 1
Ontario RAT 1 D2 limited edition
Kershaw Oso Sweet
CRKT Ripple 2, Liong Mah Remedy
Real Steel H6, Sea Eagle Explorer

Hope it's a good choice.

I struggled a bit with the decision to take the Ontario RAT. I wanted to go with the benchmade Griptilian first or the SOG visionary 2. But both are twice the price of the Ontario, which also looks the best in my opinion. I would love to add the benchmade bedlam but it is too expensive. Unfortunately.

id get the first 3 on that list.

rat 2 in d2 will also be out at the end of the year.

RAT 1 in D2 is a pretty awesome knife, I'd vote for that one. The 0562CF is great too, but there's a bit of a price difference between the two, can probably get both the RAT 1 and the Recon 1 for the same cost as the ZT.

I wanted to have a knife from ZT or Benchmade in my collection, even though they are pricey. I decided to pick the 0562cf over the benchmade bedlam. Hope it was a good choice.

I haven't ordered the recon 1 yet. Are the newer ones a lot superior to the old AUS 8 Model?
I could get the half serrated clip point version with CTS steel to the same price as the plain edge version of the old AUS 8 model(I'm not from the US btw). I usually prefer plain edge but if the CTS version is a lot superior I would go for the half serrated one. What would you guys recommend?

Well the CTS-XHP is vastly superior if you use your knives quite a bit. From a collector's standpoint it will be almost irrelevant and if you only use your knife from time to time to cut things, AUS8 is perfectly fine.
A big step on the newer models is the DLC coating on the black blades (Recon, AK47, A.Lawman) that is dozens of times stronger and more durable than the old Tuff-ex coating that wore off quickly
